3. Legal and regulatory framework
The ErQuickS platform is developed and operated in compliance with the following legislative and regulatory texts:
- E-commerce: Law No. 2010/021 of 21 December 2010 governing electronic commerce in Cameroon
- Cybersecurity: Law No. 2010/012 of 21 December 2010 on cybersecurity and cybercrime in Cameroon
- Payment systems: CEMAC Regulation No. 02/18/CEMAC/UMAC/CM of 21 December 2018 on payment systems, means and incidents in the CEMAC zone
- Company law: OHADA revised Uniform Act of 30 January 2014 on commercial company law and economic interest groupings
- Digital regulation: Decree No. 2013/0399/PM of 27 February 2013 on the organisation and operation of ANTIC (National Agency for Information and Communication Technologies)
- Consumer law: Law No. 2011/012 of 6 May 2011 on consumer protection in Cameroon
4. Intellectual property
All content of the erquicks.com site and the ErQuickS platform — texts, images, logos, icons, graphic elements, source code, software architecture, domain name, 'ErQuickS' trademark — is the exclusive property of ErQuickS or its rights holders, and is protected by Cameroonian and international intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, of any element of the site or platform, by any means whatsoever, without prior written authorisation from ErQuickS, is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement sanctioned by laws in force in Cameroon and by international conventions to which Cameroon is a party.
Third-party names, logos and trademarks mentioned on the platform (MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Google Play, App Store, etc.) are the property of their respective owners. Their mention does not constitute an endorsement of ErQuickS by these entities.
5. Personal data protection
The collection and processing of personal data carried out on this site and via ErQuickS applications are described in detail in our Privacy Policy. These processing activities are carried out in accordance with Law No. 2010/012 on cybersecurity and international data protection principles. The erquicks.com site may contain links to third-party sites or services (App Store, Google Play, social networks). These links are provided for information purposes only. ErQuickS has no control over these third-party sites, does not validate their content and disclaims all liability for their availability, content or data collection practices.
The creation of hyperlinks to erquicks.com is authorised provided they are not used for commercial purposes without prior written agreement from ErQuickS, and that they do not damage the company's image.
7. Cookies
This site uses only cookies strictly necessary for its technical operation (language preference FR/EN) and anonymised analytical cookies that do not allow visitor identification. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are placed. For any questions regarding cookies: privacy@erquicks.com
8. Accessibility
ErQuickS is committed to making its services accessible to the greatest number, including people using limited connections (2G/3G networks) and entry-level devices. The showcase site and mobile application are optimised for minimal data consumption and maximum compatibility with Android devices commonly used in Cameroon.
9. Applicable law
This site and the ErQuickS platform are governed by Cameroonian law. Any dispute relating to their use, the interpretation of these legal notices or the services provided, which could not be resolved amicably, falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Yaoundé, Cameroon.
